What Is 10 Free?

At L’Marie Nail Lacquer®, we believe what "isn't" in your polish matters just as much as what is. That’s why our formula is proudly 10-free, meaning we leave out ten of the most commonly used harmful chemicals found in traditional nail polishes.

Many conventional formulas contain ingredients known to cause irritation or discomfort. For example, formaldehyde has been linked to irritation of the eyes, skin, nose, and throat, while dibutyl phthalate (DBP), a plasticizer, may also irritate the skin and eyes. Toluene, another common additive, has been associated with headaches, dizziness, and potential effects on the nervous system.

We’ve made a conscious choice to exclude these and other questionable ingredients from our lacquers. Our 10-free formula does not include:

Formaldehyde, DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate), Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Fragrances, Parabens, Ethyl Tosylamide, or Phthalates.
